Our Story
Kiran Jewels was established in 1999 by the Rastogi family on Birhana Road — Kanpur’s historic jewellery district. What started as a small family showroom has grown into one of Kanpur’s most respected jewellery destinations, trusted by thousands of families for their most important milestones.
From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple: sell only what we’d buy ourselves. Every piece of gold at Kiran Jewels carries BIS Hallmark certification. Every diamond is assessed by a trained gemologist. Every customer receives honest advice — not sales pressure.
In 2010, owner Vikas Rastogi completed his GIA Graduate Diamonds certification from the Gemological Institute of America — one of the most rigorous and respected qualifications in the jewellery world. This credential, rare among Kanpur jewellers, allows Kiran Jewels to offer a level of diamond expertise simply not available elsewhere in the city.
Today, Kiran Jewels is particularly known for two things: our pioneering lightweight jewellery collection (a decade ahead of the trend in Kanpur), and our dedicated men’s jewellery range — the city’s most comprehensive.

Vikas Rastogi founded Kiran Jewels in 1999 with a single belief — that every customer deserves honest advice and certified quality. His GIA Graduate Diamonds certification from the Gemological Institute of America is one of the rarest and most rigorous qualifications in the jewellery world, and one of the few held by any jeweller in Kanpur.
With over 26 years of hands-on experience in the trade, Vikas personally assesses every diamond that enters the showroom — evaluating cut, colour, clarity and carat with trained precision. His expertise means customers never overpay, and never receive less than what they are promised.
